Seeds preparation advices : This species has a particular germination behavior : germination process usually starts in Summer, but sprouting takes place the following Spring (epicotyl dormancy broken with cold). It is indeed not possible to stratify it in right conditions. The best method is to soak seeds during 24 hours, then to sow directly in April/ May for seedling coming up to occur the following Spring.
